Tyson v Douglas

February 11th has come and past. You may not have noticed it, but it marks one of the greatest upsets in sporting history. In 1990 Mike Tyson was 37-0 at just ripe age 23 years of age. He was the Heavyweight Champion of the world and everyone was afraid of him. He was angry and with marital abuse allegations surrounding him, whispers of drugs, and without his mentor, his personal life was spiraling out of control. Yet, he remained a 42-1 favorite in his fight with Buster Douglas; who by all accounts was to be a tune up fight.

That’s not how it played out.
